This Week Moved

Weekly changes appear once the board is a week old.

How This List Is Made

For every class we divide its share of the top 1 % by its share of all read level-45 characters: 1.5× means 50 % more often at the top than average.

S ≥ 1.5×, A ≥ 1.15×, B 0.87–1.15×, C ≥ 0.67×, D below. A class leaves B only when its 90 % range (bootstrap over the 46 servers plus Poisson count margin) excludes 1.0; a tier changes only with a margin to the edge, otherwise it holds.

We rate a class from 2,000 read characters. The board is a daily snapshot at 00:00 UTC; arrows compare with the week before.

FAQ

Is S the strongest class?

No. S means the class is over-represented among the top 1 %. Presence also depends on play time, money spent and alt characters; we see no damage, win rates or clear times.

What is the PvP top?

The 1 % of read characters with the most open nodes on the Azphel board, the PvP board paid with Abyss currency. It measures investment in PvP, not wins.

What does ≈ mean?

The class sits at a tier edge: against all read characters and against those at item level 700 or more, the ratio falls into different tiers.

Why does a class “hold” a tier?

A tier changes only when the ratio is clearly past the edge (0.05 on a log2 scale). Otherwise the previous week’s tier stays, so the board does not flicker.

Why are there no letters yet?

The census reads every server’s oldest characters first and alternates the classes; a preview would favour the large classes. Letters appear once 90 % of the known characters are read.
